Magnifi Science: Innovative and Interesting

 Karachi is a metropolitan city filled with colours and noises. Also known as the ''Heart of Pakistan'', Karachi needs more tourist attractions. Although it does have many food outlets and lavish restaurants, I personally thought we needed more creative projects to garner the sight of tourists. Alas, I became satisfied and content once I visited ''Magnifi Science'' by the Dawood Foundation.


A fresh and imaginative concept, this science exhibition explores various different experiments ranging from biology to physics to mathematics. The experiments were innovative and sometimes very shocking to say the least. I guess one cannot decipher the limitless boundaries of science. My personal favourite was ''The Light Room'' as I was not expecting to witness my own frozen shadow. 


Moreover, I was delighted to see the inclusive and diverse environment. The staff consisted of men and women from all ethnicities and backgrounds. The staff was trained and equipped. They did a great job in guiding and handling the crowd who had no notion how to handle the experiments.


Overall, I felt immense pride seeing the rise of knowledge in our country and how people were ecstatic to visit something which is fruitful and knowledgeable. It is an incredible place for school trips as it does seem to engross children with its colours and designs.

Golden Hours: My favourite Drama ''Daam''

Have you been noticing how our dramas have become regressive and downright irritating? Personally, I think television is releasing the same old repetitive junk. However, a drama serial released in 2010 named "Daam" defied all norms. How? You may ask. It features a simple yet moralistic storyline and developed characters who are going to win your hearts for sure. Directed by Mehreen Jabbar and penned down by Umera Ahmed, I think this drama is a model for drama makers today. Things I Adore About my Country

 Amidst the infuriating horns and national songs being televised on repeat, I ponder upon the things which I adore about my country. Realistically, Pakistan is a work in progress and is definitely full of flaws. The inflation, the poverty, the violence against women and minorities and several other factors taint the reputation of Pakistan. However, let us not neglect the how this country shines above others.
