Things I Adore About my Country
Amidst the infuriating horns and national songs being televised on repeat, I ponder upon the things which I adore about my country. Realistically, Pakistan is a work in progress and is definitely full of flaws. The inflation, the poverty, the violence against women and minorities and several other factors taint the reputation of Pakistan. However, let us not neglect the how this country shines above others.
Firstly, the tourism industry is noted to be one of the most well rounded and spellbinding one to ever exist. From the heavenly valleys of the north to the modern and progressive aroma of Islamabad, our country is an all rounder when it comes to being alluring to foreigners. We can assess this by all the ''travel vlogs in Pakistan'' by people from all around the world. They rave about the hospitality of the locals and prepossessing scenery.
Secondly, you cannot deny that our country produces child prodigies and geniuses. Not just children, people from all ages and backgrounds have shown how exemplary their mind is. The late Arfa Karim who became the youngest Microsoft Certified professional at the age of 9 even compelled Bill Gates to compliment and reward her. Recently, Arshad Nadeem won two gold medals at the Olympics which made the nations light up with joy. Sharmeen Obaid Chinoy won an Oscar for a short film and Professor Asim Khawaja who is hired by Harvard, Pakistan is flooded with talent. I hope more platforms and training programs are made so we talents can be honed.
There are many other things which I adore about Pakistan but this blog cannot be too lengthy. I hope as a nation we improve. Let me know what you think.
