Is a Branded Lifestyle Vital?

''Fill your life with experiences not things. Have stories to tell, not stuff to show''

With the rising inflation, people have been aggravated and infuriated to say the least. Moreover, the thought that our nation is in the hands of unprincipled and amoral leaders elevates the hopelessness of our citizens. However, the rise of capitalism has unleashed a wave of  ''brand-consciousness''. Though many people can afford such luxury, others do not possess hard cash and thus struggle to fit in.

Let me state\that there is nothing wrong in wearing or using brands if that is what gives you joy and you can afford it. It is problematic, however, if you pressurize or excruciate yourself into buying things you cannot afford. Ask yourself this question, are the people you are trying to impress supportive or empathetic. If yes, then you do not need to engulf yourself in going an extra mile to impress them as they are already so loving. If no, then you desperately need to change your circle. I am sorry to burst your bubble.

Ponder upon the things which actually give you joy. The sound of children playing, the rumbling of thunder, getting over a bad habit and other simple stuff. Life is an amalgamation of events and characters. Though every character is complex in nature, everyone has laid- back and simplistic side from within.
Expensive clothes or lavish restaurants give you temporary glee.

With teenagers pressurizing their parents and the parents sweating themselves to make ends meet, I really hope people who taunt others for wearing cheap clothes or studying in government schools understand the impact their words have on the mental health of others. As a seventeen year old, I really wish my generation understood the value of expressing gratitude for what they have. I wish my generation understood compromise and adjustment. Maybe I am asking for too much.

Do you guys agree with me?. Let me know in the comments below
